PAUL AND KAREN REYMAN
We, along with our two children, Lonnie and Laurie , began our ministry in Africa in the country of Zimbabwe, arriving in the country’s second largest city, Bulawayo, in September of 1989. Unable to obtain permanent residence, we had to leave Zimbabwe in June of 2000.
During the eleven years in Zimbabwe, we were involved with the Pumula Church of Christ and the Makokoba Sunday School among other things. But, our primary work was the establishment of Khayelihle Children’s Village.
When we left Zimbabwe we moved to Alberton, South Africa, part of the greater Johannesburg metropolitan area, to work in the Gospel Resource Centre (formerly the Gospel Tract Centre) after the retirement of Bob and Phyllis Mills.
The Gospel Resource Centre (GRC) functions as home to several ministries including GRC’s printing and publishing, and the Angels’ Rest guest house. It is from these offices that we work with other ministries such the Tigane Church of Christ. Other areas of interest in which Paul and Karen are involved include Ellerine’s Community Development Centre where Karen teaches quilting and a choir called “Under His Wings” which Karen directs.
